yesterday i went to buy something and the store owner looked up and said something to me in chinese and i was so surprised i just said “what” in english and then we stared at each for a full ten seconds like what the fuck we are in spain

I watch a lot of movies and read a lot of books in English and one day, when I went downstairs and heard my family talking in romanian I stopped and just tought to myself “What language is that?”. Then I realized it was romanian. The language we speak in Romania. Where I live.
